Dan Shaw

Dan joins TP4 with over 30 years of experience, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the team. Dan began his career at KPMG in the audit practice, where he focused primarily on the manufacturing industry. He then transitioned to a role as a controller at a local steel fabricator, where he deepened his experience in the manufacturing sector and gained valuable exposure to the construction industry. Dan has a strong affinity for family-owned businesses, and for the past 12 years, he has served as a controller at a local machine tool manufacturer.

In his role as a controller, Dan has been responsible for overseeing financial statement preparation, account reconciliations, payroll processing, benefit plan administration, and risk management functions. He is widely respected for his trustworthiness, reliability, and commitment to excellence.

Dan holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from The Ohio State University. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking in city and county parks, biking on local trails, and immersing himself in a good book. Dan cherishes spending time with his growing family. He and his wife have raised three children and now take great joy in watching them embark on their own professional and personal journeys.
