TP4 Advisors – Business Development Executive

As a Business Development Executive at TP4 Advisors, Inc., your primary responsibility will be to drive revenue growth and expand the company’s back-office accounting, controller, and CFO client base. You will report directly to the Director of Business Development to create and implement strategies that will achieve business objectives.

TP4 Roll responsibilities
Responsibilities
  • Maintains and grows a profitable book of business through disciplined and proactive business development and relationship management.

  • Highly focused on our target client profile; understands their financial needs and effectively communicates our value proposition.

  • Develops an in-depth knowledge of TP4 products and services. Analyzes the needs of clients and prospects to effectively recommend appropriate products or services.

  • Attains established TP4 production goals through active participation in the sales management process.

  • Participates in marketplace events and networking activities to increase awareness and presence on TP4 in the community.

  • Leverages TP4’s CRM.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development plan that aligns with the firm’s goals and objectives, including identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, and cultivating relationships with potential clients.

  • Conduct market research to identify potential new clients and market trends that could impact the firm’s business growth and expansion.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute effective marketing campaigns and programs that promote the firm’s services to potential clients.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in potential client organizations, including developing proposals and managing the sales process from start to finish.

  • Coordinate with the firm’s care team to ensure that new clients are onboarded effectively.

  • Attend industry events and conferences to stay up to date with the market trends and identify potential business opportunities.

Proposal / Engagement Letter / Statement of Work Generation
  • Effectively identifies key risk factors associated with business opportunities and clearly articulates a thorough recommendation.

  • Prepares presentations and participates in the proposal process.

  • Structures and negotiates terms, and effectively documents actions and agreements.

  • Ensures that all engagements are documented completely.

  • Coordinate client onboarding with the client implementation team.

    Applies knowledge of TP4 products and services to meet customer needs and enable them to achieve their financial goals. Identifies prospecting approaches to identify potential customers and create opportunities to sell financial solutions and ideas to customers.

    Advise, educate, and engage clients on a variety of technological tools and resources allowing them to explore solutions to achieve their goals and financial well-being.

TP4 Minimum Requirements to aply
Minimum Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Accounting or a related field (Master’s Degree preferred).

  • 5+ years of experience in the professional services industry, closely held family businesses with exposure to the accounting, finance and operations functions strongly preferred with a proven track record of generating new business and driving revenue growth.

  • Experience in managing high-value financial relationships, and developing, structuring, and negotiating engagements.

  • Must be a self-starter and can take ownership of high-profile relationships with minimal supervision while effectively communicating with partners.

  • Negotiates terms and conditions of approvals within assigned parameters.

  • Prepares and presents thorough, timely, and accurate presentations for approval.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including clients, prospects, and internal teams.

  • Ability to deal with difficult problems involving multiple facets and variables in non-standardized situations.

  • Effective organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to effectively utilize CRM. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs.

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to identify market trends and develop effective business strategies.

  • Ability to work in a team and drive results through collaboration and teamwork.

  • A results-driven mindset, with the ability to meet or exceed sales targets and achieve business objectives.
