Kelly Cooley

Kelly Cooley brings over 20 years of diversified experience in accounting and financial operations in e-commerce and retail, working for both publicly held industry leaders and small private companies. She began her career in public accounting, where she developed a solid foundation in audit and compliance work, before transitioning to internal audit, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and corporate accounting for a large public company. Kelly’s experience in these areas has equipped her with a deep understanding of financial reporting and regulatory requirements.

Over the past 10 years, Kelly has served as a Controller for two privately held e-commerce retail companies, where she was responsible for overseeing the entire accounting function. This included financial statement preparation, account reconciliation, cash-flow management, forecasting/budgeting, payroll processing, and the administration of 401k plans. Her expertise in bookkeeping and financial management has been instrumental in driving operational efficiency and financial accuracy.

Kelly earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Michigan State University and an MBA from Xavier University. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, golfing, exercising, traveling, and especially watching her two daughters play soccer.
